Meet Wonderful Nitro, From Turner, OR

Wonderful Nitro is a desert-colored chameleon who approaches every object in their vicinity with the kind of suspicious curiosity usually reserved for defusing bombs, which is why they insist on wearing reading glasses even when there's nothing to read.

The baseball cap sits at a permanent skeptical angle, the suspenders hold up a full cowboy outfit that somehow still manages to look like it's been through a minor apocalypse, and the chainsaw they carry around is definitely not for trees (it's for "research purposes," they claim).

Their on-and-off friendship with Magnificent Thunder consists mainly of arguments about whether a beehive or a baseball cap is the superior desert headwear, punctuated by awkward moments when Nitro accidentally starts the chainsaw during dinner.

They have strong opinions about the color of sand, the structural integrity of fences, and why nobody respects the cowboy aesthetic anymore.
